Important Update: Document Delivery and Payment Options During the Canada Post Strike
At Waypoint Insurance, we are closely monitoring the Canada Post strike that began today. We want to keep you informed about the steps we are taking to minimize disruptions and ensure that you continue to receive the necessary documents and make payments with ease.
1.Digital Delivery Options
To ensure timely delivery and avoid delays during the strike, we strongly encourage clients to opt for digital delivery of documents. This is our preferred method during this period. Please make sure your email address is up-to-date and provide your consent for digital delivery if needed. If you prefer receiving documents electronically, we can send them directly to your inbox.
2. In-Branch Pickup Option
For clients who need their documents immediately or prefer in-person service, we are offering the option to pick up documents directly from your local Waypoint branch. Please reach out to us so we can prepare your documents and coordinate a convenient time for you to collect them. This option will help us accommodate urgent needs while minimizing delays.
3. Courier Services for Urgent Needs
If you require time-sensitive documents that cannot be sent digitally, we will utilize courier services to ensure prompt delivery. This includes registered letters, claims documents, and high-priority materials such as renewals. If you are unsure whether your documents qualify for courier service, please contact us and we will evaluate the urgency on a case-by-case basis.
4. Client Payments
To avoid any disruptions to your coverage, we encourage you to use the following payment methods during the Canada Post strike:
Online: You can make payments easily using a credit card via our secure website or through your online banking’s bill payment feature.
Over the Phone: If you prefer, we can assist you with processing payments via credit card over the phone.
In-Person: You are welcome to visit your local Waypoint branch to make payments directly.
Please remember that payments must still be made on time to ensure there are no lapses in your coverage.
5.Client Refunds: During the Canada Post strike, all client refunds will be processed via e-Transfer to ensure timely delivery. Please confirm your preferred email address for e-Transfer payments. If you are not set up for auto-deposit, the preset password for your e-Transfer will be Waypoint. If you would prefer an EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) as an alternative, please provide us with your current banking information, and we will process your refund accordingly. If you have any questions about the e-Transfer process, please don’t hesitate to reach out, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
6. Delayed Physical Mail
If you prefer or require physical copies of your documents, please note that mailing will resume once the Canada Post strike ends. Your documents will be prepared and dispatched as soon as postal services return to normal.
We are committed to keeping your experience as smooth as possible during this time. If you have any questions or need assistance with document delivery or payments, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Your peace of mind is our top priority, and we’re here to help.
Thank you for your understanding,
The Waypoint Insurance Team
