At Waypoint, we are proud to offer a number of employee benefits that are designed to bring value to your experience here at Waypoint and engage you as a valued member of the team. The following are some of the current added benefits that we offer. Both our leadership team and our social committee are committed to expanding these offerings, so you can expect to see this list grow over time.
At Waypoint, we value training and education for our people and we want to invest in your future.
We recognize that education can be expensive, so unlike others in our industry, we are pleased to provide 100% of the cost of tuition fees and book purchases up front. Our Educational Assistance Guidelines are designed to assist with these costs so you can focus on learning.
We want our people to enhance their education through the Insurance Council of British Columbia and we do this by encouraging everyone to achieve a minimum Level II licensing status. We pay for all Insurance Council licensing and renewal costs.
If you are an employee of Waypoint and you have a child in post secondary school, your child is eligible to submit an application for our Student Bursary. If your child is chosen, they will receive $1000 towards their books, tuition, etc. This bursary program has been in place for over 5 years and we love supporting our Waypoint youth!
At Waypoint, we are committed to a respectful work environment for all employees. To underscore the importance that we place on this, each new employee received training on our Respectful Workplace, Bullying & Harassment, Code of Conduct & Business Ethics and our Whistleblower Policies.
If you have a school aged child and are an employee of Waypoint, we want to help you out! You will receive an extra $100 for each child, every September to help with school supplies, clothing, or whatever else your child may need.
